We are having a (relatively) small bridal party. My sisters husbands are not groomsmen, but I would like to get them some sort of flower to wear. They are both special to me, and even though they are not in the bridal party, I'd like people to know that they are not just a regular guest at the wedding. Is anyone doing something like this? Would this look weird?

my brothers were not in my BP (my family is too big to incorporate them all) and we had them all wear red rose bouts and they looked great!! If they mean something to you, definelty do it.

My Father, Grandfather, uncles, and male cousins are all getting boutonnières. My mother, grandmother, great-aunt, aunts, and female cousins are all getting corsages.
Nothing weird about it at all. Every family has their own traditions.

FH is having people not in the bridal party be 'ushers' they will seat people and get a boutinier and mentioned in the program. He has a lot of friends and they couldn't all be in the BP so he wanted to honor them this way...this way FH and his GM can take pics before the ceremony with out worrying about handing out programs.

you can incorporate them in the wedding by giving them bout. they could look different from the ones in the BP. so that they aren't mistaken as members of the BP, but are distinguished as more than just regular guests.

I don't think that it's weird to get someone outside of the bridal party a bout
I think I am going to get one for my uncle. He is going to be taking care of my grandmother throughout the ceremony and he has always been like a brother to me.
