Initially I just thought that we should do Bow Tie with the tuxedos.. I didn't even think regular tie, but now I see more regular straight tie with the tuxedo's.. We aren't having a black tie wedding, but I still thought bow tie.. FI said that the bow ties were out of style.. LOL.. I never thought he kept up with trends.. but maybe he is right.. What are you all doing???
Sorry, I'm not sure what it's called so I'm calling it a regular tie..

My DH wore an Ascot tie.
Groomsmen wore regular ties.

i like the men in straight ties. bow ties tend to never look 100% straight in photos, but that's JMO!!

Regular ties............ We wanted to have a modern look.
DH hates bow ties. It was not an option, I liked the ascot though, I though it was dressier, but DH vetoed that too

Yeah, I agree about the regular tie, I'm thinking FH will be in silverish color, and gm in red along with BM and MOH.. it looks pretty together,and with his skin color it will go great... Thanks girls

FH says he does not want a bowtie becasue the waiters will be wearing them, o he will be having an ascot tie I believe.

I like regular ties, he wanted a bow tie..so the groomsman had regular and he had a bow tie to stand out. If I had it my way they would have all had regular ties!

My husband wore a vest and a tie, and he looked ADORABLE!!
the ring boys both wore bow ties.
i think it all depends on your taste and what you think looks good.

CIMINOK: I didn't know what an Ascot tie was until the other day.. It's more like a scarf (male scarf) it's wider then a tie.. That's the only way I can describe it..
