i see no problem with them, for everyday meals... but i think most people would prefer homemade for Tday

Instant mashed potatoes I don't do......ever. But Stove Top is the only stuffing my DH will eat. My poor MIL works so hard at making everything on Thanksgiving from scratch (including her stuffing) but then also makes Stove Top for DH

I like Pepperidge Farm stuffing (but that's not a 'ready-made' thing...you have to add to it)
Boxed mashed potatoes are a HELL NO unless I'm sick, then I crave them. I am Irish. We don't 'do' potato flakes.

THEY ARE NASTY!
My inlaws host Thanksgiving and last year had boxed potatoes and boxed stuffing .. I took over this year ... Yes - Im a food snob
