I know it's dumb, but- does anyone know where can I find alot of big cardboard boxes? FH and I are buying his mother's old house and she's trying to start packing up, but has no boxes to use! Please let me know!!!

If you go to The Storage Places they sell boxes and the brown paper for wraping dishes and glasses.

I just finished moving and got most of my boxes from AC Moore, a local liquor store, and bookstores.

For free - you can go to any hospital - they have tons of supplies that come in daily and they sure want to give them away rather than carting them out for a fee. If you know anyine who works in a hospital, they will get them for you. I am doing the same thing and I am able to bring home 10 per day if I really wanted to. And, they are sturdy ones!

Be VERY careful when you get cardboard Box's from places. Roach/Bug problems are brought in that way and I have heard horror stories. Just make sure they are clean and I would not advise getting them from food stores

I was just going to edit my post to say this, bugs lay eggs in the box glue and then they hatch later on (when you have the box).
The ones at Home Depot and Lowes are ones you have to purchase (similar to buying them from a storage place).

keyfood, etc your local big supermarket should give them to you for free! we even got some from home depot
