Boy am I critical now!!!

Since I have planned my own wedding and helped a couple others out with theirs, I find that I look at things in a whole different persective!

Another couple that we are good friends with has been planning their wedding for a year, but the bride is DEFINATELY not into the details or anything! She could care less about the dress, flowers, photographer, anything!! lol

So today we receive their wedding invitation. Nice, simple, elegant.... but the RSVP card, directions and everything are shoved inside the card. lol I opened it up and went, 'Oh, this is all wrong!'

I'm so bad!!!!

so funny! before my wedding I NEVER would have noticed something like that. but now I would.

She probably dosent care because the people who open the envelope do not care. Very few people notice the things brides drive themselves so crazy about.

You are correct! But she hasn't cared much about anything! lol That's the funny part.

I'm the opposite - now that I know how hard it is, i will be less critical... but then, I never really noticed details, just the general stuff - i.e. fun vibe, food good.

I'm awful, especially with invitations. My officemate gets wedding invites and he hands them over to me so I can check the paper and ink quality. I'm obsessed.

The worst thing is that I've gotten to DH too!! Now when we get stuff, he's like 'Hmm, thick cardstock...good weight to it... nice thermography...'

I am so with you, but I was like that even before my own wedding!!! I have been working in the wedding industry for about 5 years....and when someone in the office is critical, I'm like 'wow, that was harsh' then I remember 'wait, I do the same thing!'

I do the same thing! I got an invitation last year and I was like 'oh no......she did this WRONG'.

I know exactly what you mean. My brother is getting married in September, and my FSIL is so not into any of the details- and I get so frustrated cuz I have so many great ideas for them, but she doesnt want to hear it! Oh well!
