'Boys are stupid' Poll

The exact t-shirt says.. 'Boys are stupid.. throw rocks at them.'

When I first heard of this, I wasn't happy to tell the truth. I thought that if I wore a T-shirt akin to this.. I would end up getting dirty looks from women, etc. And I still think that.

But now I feel more that, it's all about humor. I guess it took me some time to get the 'joke'. But I know a guy who has a T-shirt that says, 'I Love My Penis' (which I would NEVER wear as enamoured as I am with and love my dingle-dangle.) LMAO

But what's the deal.. is this a case of too sensitive?.. or is there a underlying case of making fun of boys is OK.. but you better not say anything negative about a girl.

Of course I see the end result as.. a guy wearing a shirt 'Girls are stupid...' would turn off women.. a girl wearing a shirt 'Boys are stupid...' would intrigue men and would probably get flirted with. LOL

Thoughts... and let's keep the male-bashing down. LOL

I think people need to chill out..
And if i ever saw a guy wearing a t-shirt that said 'girls are stupid...throw

I agree.

I have to say I do not approve of soething like this. When children see these they will think it's 'ok'.

It also brings back a horrible memory of high school of 'boys' chasing me and actually throwing rocks. JMO

I don't know I don't consider it a direct hit against women if thats what youre asking.. I mean it's only fair seeing as most music calls women whores and Biatches. Right?

Awww, I'm sorry...that's so sad! Well, Karma will get them!!!

I actually went to a parent-teacher conference last night & they have a group coming in to talk to the students about 'conflict resolution' and bullying...I don't think the 'Boys are Stupid..' T shirt would have gone over really well with them!

Couldnt find the 'Boys' one... Ive seen it though.. on keychains too.

My car has happy bunny 'You smell like butt' car freshner and 'Its all about me, deal with it' plates and I carry the happy bunny 'You suck big time' key thing (string?)

It's just humor.

Honestly, I find the shirt funny! I always laugh when I see stuff like that.
But, I'll admit, if it were the other way around, I might not be too happy about it.

Maybe I'm reading into things too much, but there seems to be a trend lately in TV,and pop culture to bash men. Alot of the men in sitcoms these days are stupid, hazardous to themselves. Their wives/girlfriends roll their eyes and step in to bail them out. And the 'boys are stupic' trend in T-shirts and keychains, etc.
Not that there's anything wrong with that...
j/k!!

I love those shirts, have never seen them before but will have to go over to the website and order some. Something about the sarcastic message and the cartoon bunny strikes me as hysterical.
I promise not to throw any rocks though.

There is FAR too much male-bashing overall (both on TV, music, the media in general). Its just the TRENDY thing to do, talk about how ALL men are losers and cheaters and mistreat women, yadda yadda.. its SO stereotypical and boring after awhile. I roll my eyes when I hear another song talking about men in the 'scrubs' vein.

In my own life, I personally know more WOMEN who are mean and catty and mistreat men! But that's portrayed as 'cool' and 'independent women.' Go figure.

However, I'll admit that I think the t-shirt is pretty funny. I don't think it is horribly offensive whatseover.. but with the climate in this country being what it is, there is no way we'd ever see a female version of that shirt.

And the bunny t-shirts rule! LOL

I agree with Felicia. If the shirts were about women people would be outraged. I always thought the shirts were cute but I guess some people could be offended.
I guess it is kind of like those fortunoff wedding cake toppers with the bride strangling the groom. People think they are cute- but you would never see one with the groom strangling the bride.
