How do you and your FH handle this? Does he have a boys night out? Is it often? What time does he come home?

to be honest most of the time we all hang out in a groupbut once in a while they have the boys night out and when they do i just brush it off cause sometimes he needs to be with the boys just like i go out with the girls..im lucky cause he is not out all night or come home sloppy drunk but i dont let it bother me cause iknow he is coming home to me and i trust him with my life..i truly believe if u nag or give him crap(not saying u do) i mean if a girl does that he pushes u away everyone needs to be able to go out with the friends once in a while and not feel bad about it..jmo

my FH will do this once in a while.....when we were in college he did this way more often......he use to get stinking drunk and end up sleeping at a buddy house (my biggest fear was him driving drunk trying to come home so i wouldn't be mad)....it work out best for us if i had class or work anyway....now a days boys night out is going to get a couple beers and watch the game on sunday.....or going to get a bite to eat if they were all somewhere before hand....i am so glad the college drunkness is now over...FH is much more mature....

whever he wants. I enjoy having the house to myself. He also likes to go away with the guys. I'm all for it. Again, I get peace and quiet in the house.
If you have a problem with them going out or away, you should rethink whether you trust him or not. We have complete trust which makes it nice and its a nice feeling to encourage each other to spend time with friends.

usually if FH has a 'boys' night out' it's for some kind of special occasion like a friend in-town or something. usually we like to hang out together, so when something like that comes up, i hang out w/ the the girls.

for the majority it couples nights or group hang outs, or girls night, he rarely goes on boys night outs cause it gets him into trouble and sometimes breaks the bank

I feel really bad for FH.. every since we moved to Suffolk he doesn't really see his friends anymore.. plus he works alot of nights and weekends so they don't even call him and ask if he wants to go out anymore.. I am sure he needs some time with the guys. I always tell his friends if they come out i will fill the fridge with beer but noone ever does. I guess its too far for them.

Hey! Haven't seen you on in a while.
FH and his friends go out for dinner and drinks every. freaking. Friday. He's gotten better and will sometimes only go every other week, but it's still really annoying. I wish they'd just change it to a week night!
It's weird though bc he has two sets of friends - these friends that he only sees on Fridays (and I've only met them like 5 times) and his other friends that are his close friends and have totally meshed with my group of friends. So if I make him not go to dinner any more he'll never see these other friends.
