BP

Hi Ladies!
Has everyone told their BP that they have been chosen?
If yes, how did you do it ??

I still havent told mine yet....maybe in a couple of mths....
How many people are you having??

Here is my estimated BP
2MOH
4 or 5 BMs

1 best man
4 or 5 groomsmen (depending on my girls of course)

I haven't asked all of them (only my sis and best friend!) but I plan on sending them all cute personalized cards I got on Etsy! They are in my album I know a lot of girls do personalized cookies, too!


ETA: I am having 1 MOH and 5 BM

I am having:

1 MOH - my sister
6 Bridesmaids - My 2 FSIL, and4 friends.

For me there was really no thought necessary. Actually they all started planning things before I even asked them since they knew that they would be in my bridal party,

One thing I had that was hard was deciding on one person. I was in her wedding party but I am really not as close as I was in the past. I decided that I was not going to have her in my wedding party. I do not think she will be upset but I had to go with my gutt.

I am having 4 girls total.. I've asked 3 of the 4. I gave them cookies pictures are in my album

hell's to the no on the BP. i cant deal w drama or whining or chasing people to get their dresses.

I may end up with only 3 in my bridal party im second guessing my 4th person just because I feel its gonna turn into peoples feelings getting hurt and 'why didnt you ask me' crap.

We are only going to have his two brothers and my two sisters.... I HATE DRAMA!!!!!

I am waiting for 1 year out... It doesn't have anything to do with me questioning my friends/family... I just don't know how many of them I could add with out seeming ridiculous

We have asked everyone except the 2 FSILs. I am having a non traditional wedding party since we have a very female family.

2 MOH's (sister - maid of honor, best friend -matron of honor)

6BM's (friends and one cousin)

1 Jr Bridesmaid - little girl i've been babysitting for since she was 1 1/2 yrs old

2FG's - my cousin's daughter & FH's cousin's daughter

His side:

2 BM (brother & his best friend)

6 GM's (friends and one cousin)

1 RB - my little cousin. Can't wait to see him in a tux. He's going to look precious!


I only have 2 more girls to ask. I was trying to do everything in-person but I've been so busy lately I'm going to have a hard time getting together with them. The others I asked in-person & I'm going to give them Bridesmaid cookies at our E-Party.

FH called everyone on his side up. Men lol

I haven't asked any of mine yet, and I don't plan on it for awhile. Right now I'm looking at 3BM and 1 MOH, but the MOH already knows she is.

FH isn't as close with his friends and he's worried about us moving a year before the weddnig that they won't want to be involved when it comes down to it, so I'm trying to keep it smalll to help him out. If it was all up to me, i'd prob have like 6 BMs.

I have a MOH, 2 bridesmaids
He has a BM and 2 ushers

See my album for what i did, I make puzzle piece cards and modge podged them. I then made a clip art heart card and sent them :) He just asked the guys at dinner.

I had gone to my FH's aunts and uncle's houses and when the girls were there I asked them. My aunt lives in London so when she called for my birthday I asked her if she wanted to be my MOH. I am having three girls

I don't want any drama

My BP is:

4 BM (1 cousin and 3 friends)
I'm hoping for no drama, but one of my BM lives OOT so I'm worried that that might be an issue. We'll see how it goes!

His side so far is:

and I am 'eyeing' one more... I am SOOO nervous of asking her!!!!....

But maybe like a cute cookie saying 'Will you be my Bridesmaid?'

I have already been engaged almost two years and most of the BP knew bc it was a given..

others were just verbally told along the way as we decided..

I told them about a month or two after being engaged cause its fam and a reallly close friend

Me:
MOH:my cousin/best friend
1: my college roommate/best friend
2: his sister

His:
BM: His brother

2: His high school friend


He just asked them when they were all out (seperatley) like in passing

I asked them through the mail cause my roommate lives in MD..I sent them puzzle pieces that i modgepodged together that said will you be my bridesmaid..then a seperate clip art card that went along with it...ITS IN MY ABLUM GO CHECK IT OUT :)
