I dont think this is terribly unreasonable. if you picked out ONE updo and told them they all had to have that, you might get a lot of push back, but if you said do an updo - whatever updo style you like best - i'm sure your girls can each find something that flatters them but it still up.

i let my girls do whatever they wanted because they each have different hair styles/lengths etc, so it was just easier to say 'do what makes you happy' - they all had it done professionally anyway so it came out beautiful.

exactly what i was thinking...i want my hair half up, half down and curls and the whole nine..i was thinking the BP could do like a side low ponytail...they arent happy about it, and theres 9 BM 1 MOH 2 jr BM and 3 FG....so i feel like i'll lose this battle, lmao

Trust me YOU will stand out. NO ONE else is going to look like you. It doesn't matter if their hair is exaclty the same as you or someone else...no one will ever mistake a bridesmaid for a bride.

I can tell you this...you want your bridesmaid to be happy and to feel pretty too. With that many girls they will never agree so let them do what they want. Up, down, whatever. The happier they are the happier you will be. It seems such a small thing to ask but it really isn't. Not everyone likes the way they look with their hair up so if you make them they will just be miserable about it. And you don't want that the day of.

I don't think so. I did a lot of 'do whatever you want' even with the dresses I let them all pick what dress they wanted I just told them the material, color, and designer. BUt for some uniform I asked them all to wear half up and half down. They didn't all do that exactly but it was close enough and as it got closer the last thing I was worried about was my bridal party.

I will say though don't go crazy with the uniform. My friend told us what shoes to buy, our dress (of course), what kind of hair style (all the exact same), way make up had to be, what side to part our hair, and even what type of nails we had to wear. That to me is a little overboard but that JMO. But I don't think it's out of the ordinary to ask certain hair styles.

Good thing they all love the dresses

I have been in a BP where we all had to have the bump it front and half up in the back, it was ridiculous because there were some girls that it just didn't suit the shape of their face.

Having said that, just asking your girls to wear their hair all up is NOT a big deal at ALL!!! I don't think you're being crazy.

WORD!!! I let my girls do whatever they wanted. they all ended up wearing their hair down like i did but i soooooooooo had a better style. lol

my sil did the same thing with us last month. i wouldve been pissed if she made me wear my hair up. my face is to big and round for that style
