Anyone have a list of responsibilities for the bridal party? My girls are asking me what thye need to do and until the wedding is closer, all I can think of is get their dresses and shoes.

This is what i have for now...hope it helps
Maid of Honor
Helps organize the bridesmaids on the wedding day. Keeps the groom's ring until the appropriate time in the ceremony, when she exchanges it for the bride's bouquet. Assists the bride in dressing before the ceremony, and at the reception before the bride leaves. Signs the wedding certificate as a legal witness. Assists the bride with the train and veil at the altar. Is a member of the receiving line, and is seated in a place of honor at the reception. Keeps the bride on schedule. With bridesmaids, has a shower for the bride. Follows bridesmaids and precedes ring and broom bearers and flower girls in the processional. Is escorted out by the best man, to his right, immediately following flower girls in the recessional. Dances with the best man during the bridal party dance. Attend the rehearsal and rehearsal dinner party.
Bridesmaids
Assist with the pre-wedding errands and tasks. With maid of honor, have a shower for the bride. Attend the rehearsal and rehearsal dinner party. Dance with groomsman during bridal party dance. Participate in the processional in order of height. Are escorted out by groomsmen to their right immediately following maid of honor and best man. Encourage single women to participate in the bouquet toss.

mg this is soo helpful. I'm the first of my friends to get married soo...we all are like don't know and just as things come up..but this will help =)
