My MOH wants to get going on planning my BParty. What are some places we could go to...not to far away, NY, NJ...no Florida but for a weekend.

There's always AC. You can maybe do the spa one day and then dinner and gambling afterward. Or even Mohegan Sun or Foxwoods.

Fire Island...I already booked the house for Memorial Day Wknd for mine...I love that it's cheap and we can BBQ, lay out on the beach all day and then drink at the house and go to Flynns later on in the evening....Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday...

I heard of this resort in Jersey but have no idea what the name of it was or any details. And actually I don't even know if it was in Jersey or maybe Cape Cod

I told her FI but I'm concerned about the price of the house. I was just looking the other day. And I would want to to MDW. I know we had this convo before but we can bang around the island drunk together that day LOL

I'm doing this as well. I feel bad but my bridesmaids insisted since they know I LOVE Fire Island more than any place on earth. I'm concerned about the price too though but I highly recommend!

What site did they use to look for a house? Craigslist?
To my knowledge they haven't booked yet (I'm the group planner, haha) but the house I found that we've been using the last few years I found on craigslist. I think there's a real esate agent in FI too that does rentals...I think I saw them on a google search?

That is right! LOL...I got the house through a friend who had it last summer and said the landlord and house was awesome but I'm sure you can call maybe even the hotels on FI now you may be able to just get a room for one night? Or there are the suites too. The house I got is $3,000 for the weekend but I have a lot of girls it's only costing us $230 each for the wknd and I'm paying my share cause I always feel bad...
I hope you do come so we can get sloppy together at Flynn's with a Rocket Fuel in both of our hands...that would be so much fun!
