I know there are a lot of posts about BR but it's a bit confusing to go through all of them. I have pretty much decided that I will be purchasing my dress at BR but I'm undecided as to which location to buy from. Mass. is closer to me but CP seems to be a bit more in the know when it comes to alterations. Anyone who can share their alteration experience at either store???

Depends on what dress you are buying. They carry different designers at each of the 3 locations.
Alterations can be done at either of the 3 stores. They just move the dress for you. I went to Massapequa for my Maggie dress, and stayed there for my alterations even though it is the furthest location for me. The seamstress velcroed my bra into the dress so that there would be no gaping and the dress would lay flat against my chest. All that needed to be done to the dress was the hem, two darts in the bust and the bustle. I am quite content with the whole experience. I pick up my dress this Thursday.
My MOH and my FMIL both bout their dresses at BR - Mass too.
