Found a dress at BR and the price was a higher than what I wanted to spend. I called a couple of other stores and found the same dress in a New Jersey salon for a good deal less. Does BR negotiate their prices? Has anyone had any experience with them matching prices?
I did have a great experience when I tried on dresses last week,but it is all about the price right now. When push comes to shove, I have no problem traveling to NJ for the dress.

Be upfront ... The Massapequa locatoin negotiated for my MOB dress. In the end I went with a store that could order the dress for me even cheaper. See what other stores on LI carry that particular line. They may not have it in the store but can order it for you!

since your willing to travel to NJ, why not get the gown there? i know NJ doesn't charge sales tax on clothing and have heard of NY brides ordering their gowns there bec it's cheaper. the only con is that additional travelling u have to take.

I live in New Jersey, and i got an 8,000 Eve of Milady gown. NO SALES TAX!!!!!! visit Castle Couture in Marlboro NJ they are great!!

Have you tried RK bridal in the city? I believe they get the lowest price for you.

Thanks everyone for your help!
BR is the only store that carries this particular gown. I am going back into the store to try on the gown again and will ask about them matching the price. If they can't match the price, I will give NYC store a call. If not, I don't have any problem going to NJ - I would be saving over $500 by doing this!
