So i was wondering what people did as bras were concerned the day of. Did you have it sewn in or used a coset type bra? My sister had it sewn in, and had no problems, but the woman at the store told me i should get a conset type bra. I'm not overly large chested so i was just curious what the rest of you girls did. TIA

I bought a longline bra and also had cups shown in, but ended up at my last fitting deciding to skip the bra. It was perfect & very comfortable

Re: bra
I wore a longline bra. It was very comfortable. I definitely needed a lot of support so having it sewn in wasn't an option for me. But, I have heard that having the cups sewn in is very comfortable too so I think it depends on your personal preference.

Re: bra
I had a corset back dress so I was able to pull it tight enough to hold everything in place. I didn't use a bra or cups. It was perfect the whole night and very comfy.

Re: bra
It all depends upon your style of dress and how large your chest is.
My dress was a corset back, so there was plenty of boning in place already. I could have gone without, even though my chest is big, but I preferred to wear a bra for extra support. I bout a mid-line with seamless cups on clearance from Lane Bryant. My seamstress put velcro inside the dress and on the bra cups to keep it in place. This worked out grea because it kept the dress from sliding and also kept the top of the bodice flat against my chest.

Re: bra
I had cups sewn into the dress. I couldn't find a bra that would work well with my dress, it was low cut, spagetti straped and had a lower back. However, i wish my seemstress had made the straps tighter, because I felt like I was hanging out a little bit at the reception We had used safety pins to make them tighter, but they didn't hold up all day.

Re: bra
I went bra-less....I had a corset back dress and I'm large chested and b/w the boning in the dress and the corset being pulled tight I was perfect all day and night!
