Bra help

Hi. Can anyone suggest a good place to get a strapless bra for my wedding. Or can someone suggest a certain brand. I am going for my fitting on Friday so I need one really soon. Thanks!

Re: Bra help

I got mine at Macy's - I think (actually any Department store), it was very comfortable.

Mine was the Felina - Style: 7643 Essential Seamless Hidden Wire Bustier. Price about $70

Provides a smooth seam free foam bodice for shape and support. Bodice hugs the hips gently but firmly so the garment will not roll. Seamless foamed lined cups with molded graduated pads along with hidden under wires with double cushion tips and double cushioned boninb placed only in the back and sides create amazing comfort and versatility. The strapless neckline and deep V back allow for multiple Bridal and formal dress attire.

I ordered a Flattering Me long line strapless (with detachable straps) in black. Macys carries it (but does not keep black stocked).

Mine was the Very Sexy strapless from Victoria's Secret and it looked and felt great and DH was very happy with what it did. (it didn't flatten me, it shaped me)

ditto I love the one I got from VS. It has some kind of gel curve in it too (I need all the help I can get in that area.)

This is from the oprah show. I heard rave reviews. There are stores all over. I am planning on going to the one in nyc soon!

Re: Bra help

I would go to Georgette's Bra and Lingerie in Bethpage. She is great - she'll measure you and ask you about your dress so that everything fits perfectly. Good luck!

I heard from my bridal salon that Georgette's in Hicksville and Mary corsetierres in woodbury are both great! I plan on going to one of them soon.

Depending on how big your boobs are, you may want to skip the bra altogether. Initially I bought a $100 bra, but it wasn't comfortable with the dress and my gown wasn't really a cleavagey type of dress. I wound up just having cups sewn into my gown and that was by far the way to go. And just for reference, I'm a full B, small C.

Re: Bra help

I wore my Victoris Secret Convertible bra as a strapless to my first fitting and the seamstress told me not to buy another type of bra that it is perfect. I was thrilled to save the $$.
