My wedding is in May and I thought I had time to find my bra. I just spoke to specialty bra store ane learned that they won't have my size (42DD) in a halter. Does anyone know of a bra maker or anyone that carrier larger sizes?
Please help.
Thanks a lot. Alyssa

Re: Bra Maker
Call Great Shapes. They have 3 locations...Woodbury, Roslyn & Merrick. I don't know if they will have what you are looking for, but give it a shot! Good Luck!

Mary's Corsetiere (sp?) in Woodbury carries larger sizes (i'm a 36F). They can also alter bras.
They were FANTASTIC!!!

Re: Bra Maker
You could definitely try Blums in Patchogue. They have an array of sizes. My FSIL is a 44G, yes a G...LOL and she gets all her bras there!! HTH

Re: Bra Maker
You may have to get a strapless and then add a halter strap to that.

Re: Bra Maker
HI everyone, I called around and basically all I would be able to get is a strapless bra. I am going to try to get a halter strap to try to keep the girls up.
Thanks for the help. Alyssa

A good and proper fitting strapless should keep the girls up. This is coming from a 40DD, so I know the deal. Try Georgette's or Blums. It is really worth it to get a proper fit.

Re: Bra Maker
also it depends on the dress.. I am a 32 DD and my dress is corset.. If ure's has a corset back you probably wont need the halter bra because it will hold you soooo good. Try it out and see what makes you feel more comfortable...
