I have my 1st fitting tomorrow and def. don't have undergarments! Do you think its good enough to just have the put cups in my dress or should I try shopping for something before I go tomorrow?? No idea what to do!

Re: Bra or no bra???
i didnt have a bra and never planned on wearing one. If the dress is fitted properly then the dress should hold you up and in....you can put in cups if you want a little extra

Re: Bra or no bra???
I just had cups put in and was totally comfortable...granted I am not blessed in that area. As for them giving you a bra, that's not necessarily the case. Most bridal salons will tell you that if you aren't wearing the bra you will wear THAT day they will not do the fitting or at least won't touch the top of the dress...so make sure you decide before you get there!

Re: Bra or no bra???
oh gosh, I really need to decide! I am a 36D so I am now thinking it might not work with the cups. I don't know!!! I did this same thing with my shoes. I needed them when I got measured because I had the hallow to hem and I was searching the DAY OF my measurement appt. Now here I am AGAIN!!!! AHHHH!!!!!

Re: Bra or no bra???
if your a 36D I would recommend having either a corset or a strapless bra..I am a 34D and i have a corset and its very comfortable

Re: Bra or no bra???
I didn't have a bra to go to my first fitting either but didn't want to show up with nothing so I picked up a regular strapless and a long bra from Maidenform at Tanger in Deer Park and brought both just in case they couldn't do cups for me and it was a good thing, because they can't do cups in my dress and didn't have a bra there for me to use. The long bra was only $30 and it came up a little too high in the back so the seamstress is fixing it for me.

Re: Bra or no bra???
I asked the salon before I went what I should do.
They told me that if I had something, great. If not THEY had a selection.
Im a 34A. I asked my fitter if I should have cups or a bra. She told me I should have a 'corsette' type bra because the dres I had would slide down if I didnt.
So no cups for a 34A.
I THINK it depends on your dress. Call the salon and ask them what you should do.

Re: Bra or no bra???
I am a full 36C and the cups at my salon would not work. I decided that I wanted the support of a standard strapless bra. The 'girls' are not the most perky. I agree with the others that it depends on the dress and how it fits.

Keep the recipt and dont take the tag off.
I was going to buy something but my salon said 'we have what you need'.
Trust your fitter and see what she has first.
Have a great fitting!!!

Re: Bra or no bra???
I had cups put in because my dress was too low in the back. It was the best decision. I hate strapless bras and I was so comfortable the whole night. I highly recommend it!!
