does anyone know how much it costs to get a bra sewn into the dress itself?
Is this included in the alterations cap?
Thanks

Re: bra sewn into the dress?
i dont think i was charged to have the bra sewn into the dress. it was really just a couple of stitches on the side. but i did get my bra from the salon, so i had to pay for that.

that's semi-good ... how much did the bra cost you? can i just get ANY bra, or do i need something special? my dress has a straight line above the boobies (not sweetheart or whatnot ... i don't know what the straight neckline is called)

Re: bra sewn into the dress?
they charged me $90 for a bra - i know i could have gotten it much cheaper somewhere else though. it was a long line bra. you just have to get a bra that looks good with your dress (doesn't show through) and does the job lol.

seriously! but after the wedding, i cut the bra out of my dress so i can definitely re-use it again with another dress. so its not too much of a waste lol.

My place didn't charge me...should be more than $30...$90 is ridiculous.

Re: bra sewn into the dress?
I bought cups at Maidenform to have sewn it. I think it was an extra $20 to sew them in, but that was on top of the rest of the alterations.
