Bra Shoppe

Hi Ladies,

My first fitting is TUESDAY and I don't have the right bra yet... and i need to have the right 'undergarments' if you will this weekend is shot for me and i won't have time to go into Bratenders or any of those good stores in Manhattan... no time. Anyone know of a shop on LI, preferably Nassau that specializes in bras?

Also, if anyone has any feedback on Mary Lerner in Oceanside or Sylvia's in RVC, that would be great... I know they sell bras, but not sure if they're any good...

There's a store called Georgette's in Hicksville that's got all that kind of stuff.

Also Blum's in Patchogue.

I got mine at Georgettes too! They're only open until 4 or 5, though, so check their hours before you go (they are open on Saturdays too).

I cannot for the life of me remember the name of this place... but there is a great little store in West Hempstead on Hempstead Avenue and Colony Street. They are really helpful there!

Yes!! You should def come to Sweet Lace Lingerie in Bellmore!!! It's a family owned business that my mom and I run. We specialize in bridal undergarments, and accessories . And you feel like your shopping at La Petite Coquette in the city

We also have the best selection hands down for honeymoon. I do all the buying for the store, and I know what a bride wants and needs are since I am one myself!

I do all the fittings, and we now have someone who does alterations if needed. I have been working in the fashion industry for several years, working on commercials with Kate Moss.. etc.

Blum's is great. They have everything, and they really know how to fit you and find the bra to fit the dress. Also, a zillion bathing suits.

I second and third Blum's. I looked for the 'perfect' bra for months, then I finally went there, told them what I wanted and 10 minutes later walked out with the perfect bra. They are amazing!
