Is anyone getting braces put on? I already had them years ago but never wore my retainers so of course my teeth shifted. i am debating on getting invisalign or clear.
i looked into invisalign and let me tell you those are MAJOR expensive...i am thinking maybe of getting traditional braces (again...) but getting them put on the inside of my teeth, not the outside like normal...
Same thing happened to me I never wore my retainer and then had all my wisdom teeth surgically removed so so my cross bite came back...but I went to Fh's orthodontist and he was able to just put the back braces in and I used rubber bands for six months and now I just wear a retainer to bed ( No one even knew I wore rubber bands!)...so ask your orthodontist b/c sometimes it's could be a simple easy solution.
I had braces when I was younger. My teeth shifted but I'm not sure I want to go through the aggravation of braces again- plus expenses make it even worse!
FH has no luck with teeth. he had brases & retainer as a kid. within the past year he has all 4 wisdom teeth pulled & now he is considering invisalign. not to brag but i actually have really good teeth. as a kid i suffered from migraine headachs so no candy for me & my dad used to make false teeth & it used to freak me out seeing peoples teeth in his office. however my dad suggests that the best thing to do is invisalign because he know the hassel & expensive to make false teeth.
Did the same thing....didn't wear the retainer, got my wisdom teeth pulled so now I'm getting my gap in my front teeth back. It's not really noticeable in pics so I'm not too worried about it. Invisalign is ridiculously priced. I'd much rather get the clear braces and deal with that. Probably won't though. Just an added expense to an already tight budget.
I have been thinking of doing the same thing recently. My braces were removed 11 years ago years and still wear my retainer and my teeth still shift! Invisalign can be very costly but I want my teeth to be perfect in my wedding pictures so I am going to look into something...
I just got the name of an orthodontist in Massapequa from a coworker...I am going to call today and see what info I can get and maybe go in for a consultation...If i get any pricing info I will post it up on here for everyone
