OK so I LOVE CP's with branches in them... Manzanita to be specific. And I really want hanging votives. I envision tall CP's with clear vases. At the top of the vase is flowers with the branches coming out and some flowers/vines wrapped around the branches. Then there will be hanging votives on the branches and I would like to attach crystal strands from the bottom of the votives (like dangling from them). Do these branches cost a lot? Would I have to buy them? Would I have to buy the votives or crystal stands? Or do places rent them? Or supply them in the cost? Do you have to give away the CP's? I have a friend who's wedding is coming up and she has crystals for her CP's and she said she had to order them her self and they were like $600. If she doesn't give away her CP's I was thinking of borrowing the crystals. Can you give away the CP's but as the staff i dismantling them from their tall vases, take off the crystals and hanging votives? Anybody who has any knowledge about this please share! I love the look and idea of this, but don't want it to cost sooo much $$$! TIA!

You should check out save-on-crafts.com they sell the manzanite branches and also different types of vases. I'm not doing this so i really can't give you much info .

I may be getting branch CP's through my florist. I was surprised that they cost more $$$ than floral CP's. I was told because (at least for the type of branches I want) they actually get trees and cut them down to size. I am not having the curly willow branches, I am having an actual tree-like thing with branches.

we got branch cps from Burtons. They were more expensive because they were high cps but we still thought their prices were reasonable.

Ohhh that looks so pretty! OK, so once the wedding was over- did your guests take the CP's home? And if so what did you do with the hanging votives? And did Burtons include the hanging votives in the cost or did you have to get them your self?

nobody took them home..burtons provided all the glassware including the votives. Only thing was they used fake candles...so my banquet manaer replaced all the fake candles with real ones

You should check out bloomsandbranches.com. They are very reasonable for pricing and shipping (which is usually the killer) of the manzanita branches. They also have flowers, crystals, hanging votives, etc. for sale though it'd probably cheaper to get them from saveoncrafts.com or Michael's. And you NEVER have to give away your CPs. I probably will but only if I can keep one for myself! LOL!
