Brand of candy/chocolate that 'is' NY

Does anyone have any suggestions for a distinctly NEW YORK type of candy/chocolate that I can use for my favors?

I want to give out Ghiradelli chocolate squares(a San Francisco brand to represent my fiance and where we live), and something from New York to represent where I'm from and where we're having the wedding.

Any ideas beside NY Peppermint Patties?

I second the black and whites, although my absolute favorite thing to get at the bakery when I come back to NY to visit are those chocolate rainbow cakes. I'm not sure what their true name is. I'm having them at my wedding since I love them so much and we're getting married on LI.

I have seen red apple candles used as favors/placecard holders.
They just printed the guests names on a piece of paper that looked like a leaf and stuck the leaf onto the apple.

I did not know that black and whites were a NY thing.
