bras & wedding dresses

bras & wedding dresses

i bought a longline bra for my dress ... but when i had my first fitting, the bra was still showing a little in the back (i guess the dress is too low?)

Do i go with having the seamstress add cups for me? Are they comfortable? Are they expensive to add?

Or is there another choice?

I really like the longline bra idea because i could re-use the bra, and it sukcs in the belly a bit so i look skinner.

Cups definitely won't do what the bra will. Is it just a smidgen that's showing? Is it the same color as the dress? Does it show when you first put on the dress or when you move? Maybe you can find another bra that is an inch lower in back...

You're long and lean, though, so cups may very well be all you need. They didn't work for me as I needed to be lifted, tucked, squeezed, etc., but if cups will work, do it, because by the end of the day, I couldn't wait to bust out of that ancient torture device of a bra!

i totally agree - bras are the work of the devil.

i have a 2nd dress appointment on wednesday (holy cow - that's tomorrow!!!! ) ... i'll inquire about the cups and see how it goes.

Thanks
