Bravura

I love them too...just wish they weren't so much more expensive than the other places but who knows...we may still book them (heated debate with FH just ended regarding this...so stressful)

could not make the showcase tonight but considering them and Sherwood Triarts. Any idea on price points for either of them?? Wondering how much more expensive Bravura is than some of the others...getting ready to make some appointments.

Sherwood Triarts was the best we found (we looked at about 4) and although they were the most expensive, we felt they were worth it. About $500 more than the other places but we felt that photography is the one place we wanted to splurge which is why we are having difficulties with Bravura now because we can't afford to splurge again. Bravura starts at $2100 and that's just DJ...nothing included! and they don't negotiate.

I hear you!!!! We are feeling the exact same way...feeling the photos are worth it but not sure about going the extra mile on entertainment....ugh...kinda disappointed in that price.

There are a lot of photographers out there. You can get amazing photos for a decent price. Personally, if you're not completely set on Sherwood Triart, I'd splurge and book Bravura and find another amazing photographer who's more budget friendly.

I feel like Bravura had a quality I didn't find anywhere else, regardless of price, but that there were so many amazing photgraphers I could have chosen from within a similar pricepoint.

ITA. We booked with bravura, could not be happier. There are really good photographers out there as well. Thomas Paul, who I booked with, Patken, Duets, 12 night are a few.

Hey Girls! I was also at the Bravura showcase last night. What MC are you guys choosing? Are you having any live music to go along with it? I am thinking either just piano or guitar for the cocktail hour.

We were originally going to go with Tony but decided on Raul because we have a lot of Spanish-speaking guests and I thought it'd be nice if he could throw out a few shout outs in Spanish.

For cocktail hour we are using Paul (pianist/vocalist and upright bassist).

We are using Tony as our MC - love him! (his wife christy ann from christy ann cosmetics is also doing my make up )

They are doing our ceremony, CH, and reception and we are using live elements for all 3 portions as well as uplighting so excited for them!!!
