BRAVURA DJ's...feedback please

I have done a search and there are not a lot of reviews for Bravura like there are for other DJ's. Does anyone have any good/bad experiences to tell? I think I want to book them with their live percussionist but I just want to make sure. Music has been my hardest decision.

Hey ~ I booked them; my wedding is June 2!
I have Tony the owner as the MC along with a DJ and the percussionist. There are not a lot of reviews because they are fairly new to LIweddings. My friend used them last summer and they were fabulous. I highly recommend them and I have no worries about them. They are classy and very reasonable in there packages. I am using Bravura. There are a few 06 brides who are using them. Music was my toughest decision, but I knew Bravura was right for us when I met with Tony.

I am using them as well. Tony is my MC, and will also be having percussionist and using their steel drum band for the cocktail hour.

I had seen them at a showcase in summer of '04 and LOVED their performance. My MOH was there with me and we both said 'That is the DJ who is doing my (your) wedding'

When it came time to book DJ, I met with 1 other place. Though Bravura was a tad more money (then again, it's more $ b/c we're getting more) than the other company I met with, I felt like I knew Tony for years. He is an owner and an MC, and I feel like he will honestly make our day great.

They were the only vendor that we looked at and were like..... yup, them's the one! We are having Tony, a sax and drummer. Also, the calypso band for cocktail hour I CAN'T WAIT!!!!!

We are using them. Tony will be our MC and we are getting the percussionist and male singer along with the steel drum band for cocktail hour. We saw about four DJ's and it was difficult for us because FH is an audio engineer and is very picky about music. When we met with Tony he said 'get out your checkbook' LOL.

Anyone else have trouble contacting Bravura??? I was looking into booking their Steel Band. I called all different hours of the day for three weeks and got an answering machine. I wrote an email and left a message and still no word. I ended up booking through someone else because I could never reach anyone.

I have had no issues. They are doing my wedding this weekend. Any time I have left a message, I received a call back the same day.

They were awesome - they are not there on certain days. Si maybe thats why you couldn't get in touch with them. Try later in the day, thats when they are there.

DH's cousin used them at his wedding last year and they were fantastic. We were floored when we found out that there was a girl singing and that it wasnt the CD. I didnt care for the MC I think his name was Tony, he was the owner. Very self-absorbed(actually caught him serval times slicking his eyebrows in the mirror )he even told a couple to be quiet during the announcements. Otherwise though I dont see that as a reason not to book them. I thought they were outstanding.
