Has anyone had the Brazilian Hair Straightening treatment done? If so how were the results? And how much did the salon charge you?

It's similiar to Japanese Straightening process. It lasts 3-5 months and you can do it on color treated hair. It fades away unlike the Japanese that grows out.

I just wanted you to know that I have heard about the treatment. Its fairly new. I really want to try it, but don't know if I should get it closer to my wedding date. There is a website so you can learn all about it. www. Braziliankeratin.com
Please let me know if you hear anything new about it.

Never heard of Brazilian but i do Japanese and have a girl who is AWESOME. But as you said, you cant do Japanese on bleached hair and you do have to grow it out to get your curls/waves back. If you need any info on Japanese however, feel free to fm me.

Re: Brazilian Hair Straightening
ti dont know much about it but i do know that if you get it done you wont be able to do much with your hair except leave it straight. you will not be able to curl it at all.
but if you are fine with that go for it! defless maintenance

I don't think that's true. I think you still may be able to curl it with the Brazilian treatment. It's different than the Japanese that it doesn't leave your hair pin straight. There's still some body left to it.
I had the Straightner done in Oct. and I love it!! I dye my hair and the straightner did not at all damage my hair. My hair was so easy to manage, It wasn't pin straight so I loved that it had some body to it. I do it in a salon in the city FM if you want the info
