Brazilian Wax Question

I want to do this maybe the Wednesday before wedding which is on Friday. Is it a bad idea to try for the first time then? Can I get any bad reactions?

I just noticed that you are getting married the 12th....I thought it was next week.....

You should be fine if you go this week ( like a Monday or Tuesday)

Don't worry it lasts at least 3 weeks with no regrowth and this way you will have plenty of time to heal if you do have a reaction....

PS...If you do go, take an aleve or pain reliever about an 1/2 hour before you go to reduce swelling....it doesn't do much to reduce pain though ......

I got one Thursday morning before my Sunday wedding for the first time and I was fine. But it does last about 3 weeks, so if you go this week you'd be fine as well.

Good luck!! It is a little painful, but the pain reliever does help - and it only hurts for a few seconds. It does not hurt afterwards at all.

I would go this week. My first time I had a bit of swelling and it burned like a sunburn. After 2 days, I was fine. You don't need the added stress two days before your wedding.

I don't know, I got a really bad ingrown hair, that left a bit of a scar...I don't think I would do it ever again.

With the way my friend described her wax experience, I feel like I should be downing some shots to numb the pain. I'm so scared. Maybe I will do it this Thursday or Friday then.
