brazilian waxing question

ok - i have a dilemma.

i dont know if all places are like this - but shouldnt they use a fresh stick everytime they dip into the wax?? and i went with a friend and the woman took my friend right after me and never even washed her hands?

so - am i wrong for being grossed about the ladys procedures? is it common?

does anyone else have any suggestions for places in queens - or nassau co??

i am really confused about what i should do....HELP

that is nasteeee...in no way is that clean and safe...and i totally would have FLIPPED...this is how infections are spread and why I stopped getting my brows/lip, etc...waxed.

That being said, I go to an awesome woman in Queens for my brazilian - FM me for her information.

Christie & Co. in bay terrace!!!
these people charging me $45 each time!! and they are the first place i ever went and you would think they are kind of high end they would be top of the line....but the more i went....the more i began to calm down and actually pay attention to what she was doing....we were both GROSSED OUT ....and me and my friend both vowed not to go there anymore....

we tried some place in LI - which the lady was SOOO clean - but her job was not the neatest.
figures...
so i am on a search...

The place I went to used a small thing of wax. It was used for me then tossed. It is like an individual serving size. Otherwise it would be so nasty. Why didn't your friend say something to the woman about washing her hands???

the first time - we didnt remember if she did or not - and neither of us even thought about it until after the 2nd time we went. also we were both experiencing this for the 2st time - so its not like we knew what to look for.
and than the next time she noticed she didnt wash her hands....and than we realized everything this woman was doing was so gross it was our last visit....
