Breach baby Q

My friend is having a baby and she is due at the end of february. She found out a month ago that the baby is breach (sp?). The doc told her that:
1. the baby could turn around naturally (but she hasn't and we now don't think she will)

2. they can do a C-section

3. They can try to manually turn the baby around.

Well she has a 2 year old home already and doesn't want to stay long in the hospital. So i think she is going to try this manual turning thing.

This scares me...A LOT. Can anyone tell me their experiences with this..good or bad.

Or just your thoughts about it would be great..

I haven't experienced it yet, but I may within the next month. My baby has another 4 wks to turn and if it doesn't, I will have the version done. There are lots of websites that have info on the manual turning, I don't have them off hand...it should only be done by someone who is experienced at doing them because there are risks involved. I also know that it is possible that the baby will turn breech after a version.

Everyone tells me not too worry because babies are known to flip up until right before delivery!
