breakfast on the morning of

breakfast on the morning of

i'm going to need to buy *something* for people to eat on the morning of the wedding (while we're getting ready) ... it'll be about 10 people total and i prefer it if it's edible on the go (without forks and whatnot)

should i just make a dunkin donuts run that morning (or more likely - have someone else make said DD run), or should i get something better?

go to costco and get those trays of croissants and fruit. donuts are not the healthiest way to go that morngin. my mom cut up tons of fruit then just got some croissants and some other muffins or something.

FMIL did that for FBILs wedding:

bagels
cold cuts
cheeses
rolls
fruit

I don't remember if she had eggs or not.
just do a nice spread with finger foods..

If you're not going to be eating for a while that day, eschew the carbs in favor of protein, fats and fiber (think eggs, cheese, lox, bacon, nuts, fruit, veggies). It will keep you full a lot longer.

Love this suggestion as well. I'll have to remember to do this!
FMIL gets lightheaded if she doesn't eat anything.

I want something super light because there will be lunch as well later before we head to venue.

bagels. I would avoid donuts since they can be sticky.

My dad went out and got bagels, coffee, juice and (for me) Munchkins.

Our wedding was early too, and although I usually can't eat that early in the morning, I ate like a fkn hog!

The costco route is brilliant! That's quick and simple

My mom is a crazy baker and is making homemade pastries and danishes. Also getting bagels and fruit.

yea i would say costco or put in an order at a bagel store. i would make sure to have lots of cut fruit because you are going to want something healthy to eat and light.
