we are going to try to get out of our contract with our first phorographer (i dont care about the deposit i need to get out!!) any advice for choosing another one??? our price range is up to $3500

Whats the reason for the 'break up'?? If it is an obvious reason that they should know or maybe a customer service related issue then they should be more understanding, or you can talk better business department?

My photographer is Danny with Golden Moments. I love his work and he even remembered my name at the bridal show yesterday! I was so comfortable with him since my first meeting! You should try him out!

First read the whole contract and make sure that you are only losing your deposit...other contracts state that you would actually owe more money.
Other than that, hmmm i see alot of girls book with velvet and 12th night and say they got great packages, you might want to check them out

I would check out silver fox...their work is amazing and everything is a la carte....you pick and choose your own package and you can customize it after the wedding at no penalty...Jon is AMAZING to work with too....

We booked with Velvet!!! We absolotly loved them! Bob was so nice. And he has amazing work. ANd we loved the fact that his wife and son work with him. Just let him know what your budget is and he will work with you. If you want his info let me know!

I agree, try Artisan! I got married in June 2006. Chuck was my photographer; he was wonderful!!! I had 2 photographers and a videographer, all from Artisan, and the results were spectancular!!! I had over 1000 proofs- all beautiful!! I had the proofs and uneditted video 2 weeks after the wedding. My pictures were online for all guests to see (many were so impressed, they bought photos). It was hard to choose the pictures for my album, but Lynn was very helpful. Today I got my editted video, and it's great! Artisan was by far one of my favorite vendors. I highly recommend them.
