Ughh lol the august 2003 blackout I was in the middle of giving birth lol YEP backup generators came on but no AC it was soo freaking HOTT. What is with these blackouts while im pregnant GEEZ!!!![]()

luckily we went on a cruise a few days later...we couldn't believe when we heard on the ship that astoria still had no power after a week

Almost every night of the Astoria blackout , I was at either Ave or Grand, sooo many people were out bec it was just unbearable to stay home in the heat, driving past some blocks were pitch black
