Where did you get this info?
They never ever close the NYC public schools, and I don't see anything on any of the news channels.

I WFH so i watch Channel 7/ABC all day and they interupted the hot topics on the View lol for the announcement.
Maybe check WABC-TV news website

Lol I wonder the same thing.. Wish my company would just send around an e-mail saying 'We're closing just in case, for your safety, because we care about you.' Haha..

Re: BREAKING NEWS FOR NYC SCHOOLS!!!!
Wow I'm in shock that they closed the schools. And seriously jealous of all the teachers out there. The snow policy at my job is if the Boss can make it in then everyone else has to too.
THe boss lives 3 blocks from the office and can walk.

Re: BREAKING NEWS FOR NYC SCHOOLS!!!!
I heard some Nassau ones are closed too. I'm subbing now, so I'm hoping for just a little snow out here in Longwood that will deter some teachers from driving.to work Maybe 4- 6 inches?

I'm loving this!!!! I'm just really excited they made the decision today, this way I don't have to wake up at 5am! They are saying there might be another one on Thursday also, because the snow isn't supposed to stop till 3am Thursday morning.
