Heidi Montag's breasts (and relationship and singing career and apartment and office job) aren't the only fake things on 'The Hills'! The whole 'reality' show is too. Shocker!
Cameras snapped the gruesome twosome of Heidi and Spencer filming scenes of the fauxality show at LAX (the airport, not the club) on October 12. At first, all appears legit as Spencer is seen dropping off Heidi, appropriately enough, at the curb. But minutes (and a costume change) later, the douchebag duo shoot another scene, making it look like Heidi has just returned from visiting her folks in Colorado. Faster than the Concorde!
It's official: everything about Heidi and Spencer is a sham! Team Elodie.
A rep for MTV says 'This was a pickup shot for continuity that in no way affected the storyline.'
I always thought some of the show was scripted! Especially Heidi & Spencer's parts...no one can be THAT wierd!

i dunno if they mentioned it there but they mentioned on another site the episode where they 'coincidentally' ran into lauren and jason. a waitress at a restaurant also spilled to a gossip site that lauren ate there and the crew had her do a few takes of her eating

Yeah, they always said they were a 'scripted-reality' show. Even when they were making Laguna Beach. If they don't like the way something went down they can make them re-film it. If something happens off-camera that's important they make them re-stage the whole scenario for the camera. They'll also give them a sheet with 'topics' they want discussed on-air. It's still fun to watch.

Ok, you have all watched Real World, and you always manage to see other cameras in the shot and mic and stuff.... the hills just looks way to perfect to be anywhere near real!

i saw a vid of lauren walking & the producers said they didnt get it good, she turned around & re-did the walk...so i guess it isnt 100% real.

they ALSO said that although whitney works for teen vogue (i think teen vogue) full time, lauren only goes in to film for the show. She doesnt work there any other time!
