Did anyone catch the news clip on Fox 5 last night regarding breast cancer and housework? According to a study they indicated women who did housework on a consistent basis, specifically vacuuming and dusting, reduced their likelihood of breast cancer. FH face light up with such glee. He pointed to the vaccum and said perhaps I should start right away. So do we think this study might have been funded and conducted by men?????

Tell him that you have no problem doing the dusting and the vacuuming to promote good health. BUT he has to clean the kitchen, the bath and anything else that uses chemicals so you don't counteract all the good that the vacuuming and dusting is doing.

FH and I saw that together! We thought it was a nice touch that some of the women were pregnant and schlepping the vacuum down the stairs and some had kids while vacumming...I saw the entire thing as a hidden message I did NOT want to be privvy to!!

That's too funny... well, I'm a neat freak so I'm always dusting and vaccuuming. I guess I'll get a clean bill of health (due to OCD).

Wow, so my Mom will NEVER get breast cancer
B/c let me tell you-- that woman was up at the asss crack of dawn everyday vacuuming, dusting and cleaning- I don't think I have ever seen her stop for a second.
The house has NEVER been even remotely dirty- she is like, obsessed!
