Breast feeding question if you don't mind?

What products are you girls using or have used? Do you have any recommendations? There has to be a good one out there that doesn't cost $279? I think that's way too much. Thanks!

You can get the Medela SINGLE pump for $89 at BRU. Yes you cant pump 2 at a time, it doesnt come with a carrying bag or the other goodies but its still a Medela, is battery or AC powered and serves the same purpose.

There is an internet site that was selling the $279 Medela Pump in Style for $179 when I was pregnant. It was posted on the Babycenter bulletin board. If you are interested in that pump I will see if I can find the site again.

I have the Avent Isis Manual pump. It works really well for a manual pump - BUT, it is not good to use early on when you are attempting to establish a large milk supply for your baby. Really, the electric pumps offer superior suction and are MUCH faster. But, the Isis is a cheaper option...it retails for only $45.

You can get the Instyle on the Internet for less than in BRU and you can also rent hospital grade pumps. Claud is right- manual pumps are for occassional use and not for when you are trying to get your supply up and running.
