Breast Implants.. Question??

I am getting breast implants in January and I was curious to know if anyone has had this procedure before. If so.. who was your doctor? Are you happy with your implants? How bad was the pain? And do you have any kind words of advice?

Re: Breast Implants.. Question??

don't have them but I want them, lol!

Have plenty of friends who do have them and I'm sorry because I know this isn't going to help much but some were in extreme pain and others were completely fine, just avoid hugs for awhile :) thats what bothered them all

There is a lady in the office that I work in that had them done in Feb 04. She had the incision under the arm pit and she couldn't raise her arms for a while to put on shirts. She was in a lot of pain the week of but it slowly subsided. Obviously you'll need pain medication for any type of surgery. She's very happy with her implants, she says its the best thing she ever done (she's 40).

I wish you luck! (I wish I could give you some of mine, I need a reduction )

Re: Breast Implants.. Question??

I heard that you can have the implants thru your belly button, for less scaring problems..did anyone else hear this?

I would like to get a reduction and lift..Blu-ize..how was your experience? Did you have any scaring?

Most reputable doctors WILL NOT do this type of procedure anymore. It has been shown to have poor long term results. Why? Because first of all, they cannot place the implants under the muscle when they do it thru the belly button. Putting the implant OVER the muscle offers little long term support, has a greater chance of scar tissue formation and other problems, and does not appear as natural looking as under the muscle.
