Breast Reduction and Pregnancy/BF.............

Ladies, has anyone had a BR before or after pregnancy?
Does anyone know the effects of one if you have it before ?
Can I still Breast feed or is it a no no afterwards?

I haven't done it (yet) but I did inquire about it and my OB-GYN told me to wait until after I was done having kids. I knew I wanted more, so I didn't pursue it after that. Hope that little bit of info helps

heya cutie... there's some type of risk that may or may not affect breast feeding - you run the risk of severing the lines that bring the milk to the nipple - that's why docs usuallyl try to tell women to wait after they are done with kids.... which is exactly what i plan on doing!

One of my friends had it done a few years ago and had her first baby last year. She said it was the best thing she has ever done! She was still able to BF, but not everyone can.

I guess I can wait another 3-4 years then.
Hopefully I will have both babies by that time.
I do want to be able to BF for at least teh first few months of each child (I want 2- we're TTC next year)
