I gave my daughter strictly breastmilk until she was about 8 months old. I would pump at work until I left my job when she was 6 months. Over the past 2 months, I have started to wean her off the breast milk. So now she takes both, breast milk and formula. Breast when she wakes up and before she goes to bed and bottle during the day. I know a lot of women have a hard time with the transition, but Brooke was fine with it, probably since she was getting breast milk in one since she was 3 months. Anyway, I was lucky and had a great experience with breastfeeding. I look forward to it every morning and every evening. I highly recommend trying it. I plan on weaning her completely at one year.

I hope to breast feed only for as long as possible but not being a mom yet I have no idea what's in store.

I am bottle feeding only.

I WAS breastfeeding only (I am a pumping full-time mom) and only got to nurse my son for his first and last meals of the day. He will be 6 months old (already!!) next week and I am starting to wean him so right now he gets one bottle of formula a day.

I plan on bottle feeding with formula

I plan to try and breastfeed for as long as I am home with the baby (which will only be 2 -3 months) but will probably supplement with formula very early on.

Right now I am exclusively breastfeeding as Alex is only 3 weeks old, however I plan on introducing a bottle for one feed a day within the next week or two so that he will take a bottle as well. While we are still in Ireland I will use formula in his bottle and once we get home I hope to pump and use breast milk in his bottle.

Just the boobie milk for my little ones. Emma was 2 1/2 when she stoped and I bet Jeremy wont be much different...

I basically bottle fed breastfed in the morning when it was early early morning. Also when my daughter was fussy but it wasn't time for her next bottle she just needed alittle something to tide her over

I breastfeed but with a bottle...The awful hospital gave me little to no help and with all of the drugs I was on (c/s w/problems) Molly was losing weight due to being so sleepy. I ended up pumping breastmilk for Molly full-time for 1 year.

Nope SAHM since June 14, 2002. I also couldnt leave Emma until she could drink from a sippy. I was around her a lot. Jeremy has taken BM from a bottle but now refuses, he only wants it from the source What I do for my kiddies...

I am on 11 months of breastfeeding exclusively. Andrew has never had formula. He's taken bottles of breastmilk on occasion. We are weaning now and he's already started whole milk in sippy cups.

Gabriella was BF for the 12 months (about 1.5 weeks shy.) Since I was pregnant, I had to suppliment with formula in that last month.

Claire is 4 1/2 months old and we are exclusively breastfeeding, no formula. Since I am back at work she does take bottles of breastmilk during the day. I plan on making it to 1 year!
