All is well....we are breastfeeding like champions and pooping like a little machine....good signs. I never thought I could be so excited about a poopie diaper! Of course Sophie likes to pee right after she's been rubbed with balmex and all cleaned up and then we get to start all over! This is most entertaining at 3:00 am of course.....She is great though - she actually sleeps for about 4 hour stretches at night so I am very lucky. I was waking her up every two hours to breasfeed and then realized she fed for like 5 minutes and passed out again. It makes more sense to let her wake to eat and then she's ready to go.
All in all we are getting used to each other and I can see a routine in sight. It's a lot of work and yet it really only consists of diapering, burping and feeding - somehow the day just blends away though. I love her to pieces. She's my little button.

Good to hear from you!! It sounds like Miss Sophia is settling right in!! She'll be in charge of the household in no time. I'm not embarassed to admit that Sean wears the pants in our family!

I'd always heard about it ... but there you are jumping up & down over a poopy diaper. Don't you just love being a mommy?!
