I have been to a couple of weddings there also and I agree the food and service are great. There was only one small thing I didnt like and that is why I didnt look at them. After the cocktail hour they made all the guests go out into the lobby/hallway and wait for the room to be set up, so I would check on that otherwise it is a wonderful place. Please no one take offense this is JMO.

I went to a wedding there, and they didn't do this, however it was during the summer, and the cocktail hour was outside. I thought it was a really nice wedding, and you couldn't beat the deal that they give you.

Re: Brentwood Country Club
My uncle got married there. It was a great package and even the pymt process was nice. I don't recall them doing that after the cocktail hour. In fact, I thought there were two rooms or something to that effect...
In any case, I remember it being beautiful. They had the ceremony there as well.

Re: Brentwood Country Club
I was the MOH at my aunt's wedding there 3 years ago. We weren't made to go into the lobby after cocktail hour, but wedding was in May and CH was outside.
I thought it was great. Good food & service. The dj was fun. You might want to expand or supplement on flowers/centerpieces and maybe photographer. the bridal attendant was the best part!!!! she was great!

Re: Brentwood Country Club
I went to a wedding there in March. They had the ceremony there too so cocktail hour was in the lobby until they broke down the room and re-set it. It was a bit cramped while they did this and they did not replenish anything than ran out.

Re: Brentwood Country Club
Just make sure you check out the vendors(photographer/dj/invites/etc) for yourself before yo book. I don't know which vendors they use so I can't pass judgement, just make sure you like them.

Re: Brentwood Country Club
that's funny cause Scott the coordinator that showed us around last night said that all cocktail food was replenished until the actual reception started...this is why I'm so indecisive on picking a place

Re: Brentwood Country Club
I don't remember there even being a dent in the food at the cocktail hour!!
fall2005bride--the woman who is coordinating my wedding at Raphael (I think it's her parents who own the place) is married to the head chef at BCC. It's all family-owned and operated. I was seriously considering BCC based on the experience we had with my aunt's wedding, but I just fell in love with Raphael and my FH loved the idea of a winery, plus BCC is a little far west for us.
But, I would also reccommend that you make sure the other vendors are exactly what you want (ie photo, flowers, etc.)
Good luck!

Re: Brentwood Country Club
BCC is having a bridal showcase on Thursday the 17th(next week) where it will be set up like a wedding-all vendors will be there, the DJ will be playing and you can taste the food!

Re: Brentwood Country Club
I had my wedding there this past June and I loved it. We had wanted the cocktail hour outside but due to rain had to have it inside. So, I think it was a little cramped while they were first changing the ceremony room (we had that there as well) into th e cocktail room and then again as they went to set it up for dinner. But, no one seemed to think it was a big deal and it didn't take much time at all. We had about 140 people and the foyer area where they move people too is pretty big. As far as the food not being replenished - well, I didn't really get to see a lot of the set up for the cocktail hour as I was mingling and the attendant brought stuff to us - but everyone just went on about HOW MUCH food there was and how good it was, so it doesn't se em like there was a problem with that. They were really great to deal with (Scott was really nice) and everyone keeps telling me what a great time they had there. There were a couple of small things about a couple of the vendors but nothing major at all - FM me if you have any questions.ü V

Re: Brentwood Country Club
usuk2004 - I am so jealous - I drive past Rapheal every day and I think it looks so beautiful. When they told us it was run by the same people as BCC (they were telling us they were upgrading the food choices at BCC to try and make it more in line with Rapheal) I jokingly asked if we could switch (I just love the vinyard and countryside out here) but I think it cost more due to a site fee - plus, it would be a little far west for a lot of our guests. But it does look lovely!! Mind if I crash your wedding? JK D

Re: Brentwood Country Club
How a wedding comes off may also have alot to do with the Maitre D and staff working too. Perhaps the wedding I was at, the Maitre D wasn't on top of things. I think they've switched management a few times too so that also affects how things are done.

Re: Brentwood Country Club
I live in Brentwood (about a 1/4 mile from the BCC) and I love the way it is secluded. It is not on a major road and you have to follow the signs to get there. I think that is nice.

Re: Brentwood Country Club
I live in Bayshore but went and graduated from Brentwood and so did my fiance...Although Brentwood has gone down hill lately-the Country club is out of the way and on beautiful grounds....A major consideration
