Hi!! I am new to this and just got engaged last month! After looking at many places, we are 99% sure we are choosing The Woodlands for our reception. One of their recommended photographers is Brett Matthews Photography. Actually when visiting other reception sites, I was always drawn to the Brett Matthews photos on display. I actually don't know anyone who has used them before, and was wondering if any of you could give me some reviews on their work, pricing, professionalism, etc.

My bro and FSIL booked them. They are a bit too pricey for me, but they just got back their epics which are simply beautiful! The pictures really are stunning and they are both so happy with them and love their photographer HTH

Congrats on your engagement and welcome...The Woodlands is such a beautiful place, that was one of my top two places! As for Brett Matthews I have heard that he does amazing work but are a little pricy and that you don't get your pics for about 3 years after you wedding...I wouldn't be able to wait that long...lol

They do great work, but when I called they told me the same thing about the CD of pics - you don't get it until 3 years after your wedding. I wasn't willing to wait that long b/c I want to be able to print the pics myself and do Snap Fish books for people. Their pics are gorgeous though!

I agree... beautiful work but I am not willing to wait 3 years! Plus, I want to be able to make 10 cent copies of some of my pics for family and friends. I wonder how much they charge for a 4 x 6.
