Hey!
I went to ************** and my price quote was $4395. That included 2 photographers and lighting asst, engagement session, a bunch of blow ups, 1 10X10 album with 50 photos. They do amazing work but they do have some negatives...
Ok now the negatives....the sales pitch was OBNOXIOUS! Also they do not give you rights to your photos! This was not cool to me. That means you do not get them on a disc, you cannot upload them to your myspace or email them out...AND anytime you want a reprint...you pay for it. Between that and the hard/rude sales pitch...I was out of there! I dont care how good their work is!
Ok as for a better suggestion....try Katie Lyman. She is out of brooklyn but does amazing work. My cousin (who is a prof photographer in Cali....he shoots high $$ weddings, pro-athletes, etc)....recommended Katie. Her prices is comparable to ************** but you get double the amount of stuff! Her quality is amazing and she is awesome to work with!

I thought they were AWESOME and worth the money and the fact that you don't have rights to your pics for 5 years! Its no biggie- I just scanned them and was able to do what I needed! I also didn't find their sales pitch obnoxious at all- I booked them on the spot!

i booked ************** o 1/26/08for $5505 with a reversible digital album 10X10 a 20x24 picture 2 photographers 2 parent albums a bunch of 5X7 and 10X7
and they told me that i do get tp keep all my proofs and will be able to view them online as well that was the first question i asked
but the sales pitch was annoying i must admit lol

we used ************** for my daughter's wedding. Chris was very good and the pictures were beautiful. We got to keep all the proofs. I'd recommend them.

Be careful with Brett M we used them The talked us into the most expensive album telling us we could do whatever we wanted with the picture sizes. We picked our pictures for our albums. The lady said oh look how great this would be and this picture should be this size.
At the end she told us ok thats a total of 800.00 EXTRA. They forgot to mention that to put more then one pic on the page it ranged from 65-85.00 extra and we did a panaromic (of course she told us how 'great that would be') and it was 150.00.
Just make sure to question them on EVERYTHING!

I definitely think their pictures are GORGEOUS! Some of the best I have seen and I am into photography. But the sales guy...RichI think his name was...talked a mile a minute and wouldnt let me get one word in! Arghh. Also he showed me alot of pictures and kept saying 'Isnt this pretty, isnt this nice' So anyway....I think they do nice work but for the price...you dont get much.

ahah that was the funniest part the guy rich lol he did talk a mile a minute.. i was like guy ok enough just let me ask my questions he did let me ask but damm he didnt want to talk talking
when i got home and realized i forgot to ask one question how if i needed them for one then 10 hrs which im going to and its 500 an hr which i am not happy about but im hoping to haggle when i go see them

Wow that is a crazy amount for overtime! Yes...Rich he was a strange one and very forceful about doing our pictures before the ceremony!

We did NOT do anything before the ceremony. I never wold have allowed it. Im trying to think it was so long ago... I think we met with Rich to.
Who would think though to ask if putting 2 pics on a page would cost more money... I was paying MORE money to get the album to do that with!
Our album is really nice and I was a photo major in college so they were really important to me but still.

Thats for the tips girls - so helpful. $500 for an extra hour seems pricey to me. Ther photos are definetely nice but it doesn't seem they give you much and I too am bothered by not having the rights to my pictures.

you get to keep all your proofs. the overtime is out of control he gave me a lot of things that werent in the package just ask them

I am using them, mostly because I have a good friend who used them and I loved her pictures. That is one thing you don't want to skimp on. I really loved their stuff it wasen't cheesy but, the sales pitch was annoying.
