How does it work? Do all places require an appt? Is there a huge wait for weekend appts since most places close early? I'm dreading trying to get all the girls together w/ our crazy schedules and all.

Do you mean for bridesmaid dresses? Yes, they do prefer appointments, esp at the higher end places. When I was looking, I only took my sister, best friend and mother (I have 12 Bridesmaids). We decided on the dress, and then sent the info to my other bridesmaids...I offered to go to the salon with them when they were able to go for measurements.
If you have a large bridal party, I think this may be the best route for you to take. Otherwise, things could be chaotic.

I didnt make appointments for most of the places that I went to when I tried on dresses, however, they do like it better when you make appts. I kinda went on a whim one day lolol. Ive had no issues when walking in like that but I'm sure that you would get more one-on-one attention by making appointments...

Thanks ladies!!! I need to get on this dress hunt ASAP LOL I'm hearing it takes months to get a dress in unless you go with David's bridal.......

Most places require appointments, and even if they don't, it's best to make one so you won't have to wait.
