Bridal Attendant??

****ADDED QUESTION*****

What specifically is the role of the bridal attendant? Is one needed or is it an extra wedding expense? Is it normal for a RH to charge you a flat fee for the Bridal Attendant?

TIA

They usually are people who help you during the reception and their services are included as a courtesy by your RH

you absolutely need one. they're the person that waits on you hand & foot. they make sure your glass is never empty, they bustle you when you need it. they're your personal assitant for the day. they do more than the maitre d in my opinion. you tip them seperately

a traditional RH will provide one as part of their cost... a non-traditional (i.e. a club/restaurant) will totally not provide this person in which case you can hire some independently.

I can't think of a weeding that I've gone to recently here there wasn't a Bridal Attendant. Ours is part of our cartering halls standard deal-no extra charge.

It should be part of the package at your RH. The Bridal Attendant will be there for your every need. Get you drinks, bussle your dress, and pretty much be by your side all day.

The only charge I believe is the tip which is usually 1-2 per guest.
