I am looking for a belt for my wedding dress. I have looked on etsy and like many of the belts there.Where did you girls buy your sashes? How did it come out? was the quality good?
It is so stunning, the photo does it NO justice. She was able to change the color of the ribbon to ivory, and there are little rhinestones at the end of the ribbon where it ties.

Re: Bridal belts
I'm going to make my own. you can go to a store like m&j Trimming, and they have pre-made belts in the 'bridal center'... but those sell for upto 300.
you can purchase the same EXACT suplies they used (for like $30) and either stich them together yourself, or bring it to your alterations person.
easy peasey.

Re: Bridal belts
I got mine from Etsy, Clay Bouquet Shop and it's rhinestone and a jewelry like material so it's a lot heavier that other belts. My seamstress sewed it on to the dress and I loved the way it came out. Clay Bouquet Shop
I purchased mine from the wedding salon of manhasset where I purchased my dress. Its completely handmade with all swarvorski crystals. It was pricey but I'm looking to sell it after my wedding on Friday. FM if interested.
this is the one I got, it is beautiful in person!! there are also others on the website.
I had no idea Nordstrom sold accessories like this. I am the type of girl who likes to see things in person before I drop a lot of cash. This is great!!! Good to know!

Re: Bridal belts
yes I am the same way I MUST see things in person before, so ordering on etsy was not an option for me for something like this.
Nordstroms is great too because you can order anything on their website and just return it to the store.
If you go to their bridal suite at roosevelt field they have all the belts there.

Re: Bridal belts
Got mine at the wedding salon in Manhasset where I got my dress. The dress comes with a beautiful sash but I bought an extra one in platinum with a diamond crusted buckle to change into at my reception. It gives the dress another look.
