Bridal Boutique of Bayshore & Moolnight Couture-Update

went friday to try on some dresses!!!
let me just say almost every single dress that i loved online or in a magazine looked like sh*t on me. lol

BBB- we had a great experience with them. very nice. didnt rush us at all. my only thing was that the bc didnt come up with any suggestions. i think that has to do with the fact i kept telling her i didnt want to look like a cupcake. my fsil picked out a dress(could be the one) once the bc saw it on me she got more of an idea what would work best for me.

MC- we had another great experience here as well. the bc knew right away what would work best on my figure. she even pulled a few for me to try on that wouldnt work just to explain why it wouldnt.

in the end it was a great day.
i really did love a dress(made my sister cry) but im afraid there might be something better out there.

glad u had a great experience!

u know, I feel that a lot of times we, girls, have an idea in our head of what dress we want, and a lot of times they really dont work on us. 1st time I went was a total spur of the moment and up to that moment I really didnt think of what I wanted. helped cause I was totally open for anything (anything with NO sparkly stuff )

eta: for the dress u like - try looking at some more dresses if u cant get this dress out of ur mind then there truly nothing out there that is better than this one

im trying to keep it out of my head.lol

the two dresses that i loved, when i looked them up online they looked like sh*t!!! not in a million years would i have clipped them to bring to a store to try on.

when my fsil showed them to my fmil she was like 'hmmm' my fsil had to explain that the dresses were gorgeous in person

I had the same thing happen with me. The only thing I knew going in was that I wanted it to be 'princess-like.' So yea, I want to look like a 'cupcake.'

But all of the gowns I picked out in magazines were more A-line than ballgown, and I hated the way they looked on me. I also thought I wanted minimal detailing....but then when I tried them on, I felt they were too plain.

Well go figure, the gown I'm getting is ballgown style....LOTS of dress, and a TON of detailing Oh and the stock photo of the gown from their website is hideous! I look SO much better in it than the model does

Do you have a pic of you in it?

And my rule, BTW, is if you can't get it out of your head for more than two days......that's the gown. That's how I chose mine.

I'm glad you had a great experience! Trust me, I know how you feel when you say that you think there might be something better out there...i kept thinking the same thing and kept trying on some of the same kind of dresses over and over again. Then I found 'the one' I only tried it on at one place but did not get it there because I wasn't found of the people that worked there so I went over to another place and fell in love with it. IMO when you found the one, you'll know Good luck!
