Hi. I plan on going wedding dress shopping in the next few months. I've already scheduled Kleinfeld's (because of my 'Say yes to the dress' addiction)...Can anyone suggest any nice bridal shops? I live in Queens, but am willing to go to Long Island too...Thanks!

Re: Bridal Boutiques?
there's bridal reflections (they have a location in massapequa but also one that's just a couple blocks from kleinfeld's), village bridal in babylon, vera wang in manhasset, and lillette's bridal in baldwin....there's also iman bridal in iman bridal in old brookville, but i didn't have the greatest experience there...i think it's sketchy when they won't tell you the name of the designer of the dress you like...

Re: Bridal Boutiques?
I bought my dress at Bridal Reflections in the city. I went during an Ines Di Santo Trunk show and they were very helpful. I also went to kleinfelds but I went back to bridal reflections. Kelinfelds has a huge selection but I wasn't as excited about them as I was bridal reflections but keep in my everyone is a different kind of bride. I am all about the wow factor not necessarily timelessness that a lot of brides go for.

Re: Bridal Boutiques?
I really liked Village Bridal in Babylon and Paradise Bridal in Patchogue. I just ordered my BMs dresses this weekend from Alexandra Boutique in Forest Hills and they also have bridal gowns. Charisol Bridal was very nice, too. If you're looking for a BIG store in the city- there's RK Bridal though their customer service can be hit or miss.

Re: Bridal Boutiques?
I LOVED Wedding Salon of Manhasset, which is where I ultimately purchased my dress. It was the only place I went to that really made me feel like a pampered bride!

You can also try Wedding Atelier in Manhattan, which has a different selection of designers from Kleinfeld and Bridal Reflections. They carry Priscilla of Boston and Melissa Sweet, to name a few.
There's also Bergdorf Goodman in Manhattan too, which also carries a large selection of Ines di Santo.

Lillette's! They just opened a brand new shop in Bellmore - it's beautiful!

Valentina's in BK.
I was going to recommend Valentina's too. They are a wonderful store with everything you need. My older DIL got her gown and the BM's dresses there too. Valentina's is on New Utrecht Avenue and 76th Street or right in that vicinity.
You can also try Doris Fashions on 18th Ave and 68th Street and Lestans on Ralph and Flatlands Aves. But try Valentina's first.

Gabriella's in the city is very nice, but a little on the smallish side.
I've heard that the people at Moonlight Couture in Merrick are very nice, but I've never been there.
Elena Bridal Couture in Merrick is also very nice, but again a little on the smallish side.

Re: Bridal Boutiques?
do you know what dresses/designers you like? you can narrow your search that way
