Bridal Boutiques and Gowns

Does anyone have any bridal boutique's they could recommend to me. I am starting to go dress shopping (YAYAY!!!) and don't know where to start . I am looking for places that are reputable have nice gowns that have reasonable prices.

If you ladies could recommend any places in Long Island or Queens that would be GREAT!!!

i got my dress from carmelas bridal garden on jericho tpk in huntington. 631-385-9705. Carmela is this nice little italian lady who does all of the alerations herself...she can do anything you want! She reminds me of my grandma who isnt here anymore they are very nice. the shop is a little store where they dont like more then one bide in at a time. its a nice calm experience . I dont kow what your looking to spend but i think they have a pretty good range of prices.

i went to NY bridal couture in Staten Island. Its a little out of the way but the place is fairly new so its very nice and they have all types of gowns. Great customer service as well.

depends on where you live, but Fantasia in rocky point. they are terrific!!

I had some friends use Bridal Reflections out on LI and they all loved their dresses. I am just beginning to look myself!

i went to bridal reflections ad they were sooo rude i wanted to cry. i would never recomend anyone to them. their shops look so pretty and it looks like htey have nice dresses( i wouldnt know bc they wouldnt let me look at them myself) but they are very rude and snotty. JMO

I heard the Village Bridal Boutique in Babylon is a nice place and has really nice gowns.

Paradise Bridal in patchogue they have great selections as well as BM and Tux!

I heard that Bridal Reflections is kind of snotty and overpriced as well which in combination could be very discouraging in itself

These are the types of places that I am looking for - NICE and CALM!! LOL.

I got my BM dress for my brother's wedding at Bridal Suite in Bayshore. I wasn't a fan of the place. They weren't friendly and a little snotty. I went to Village Bridal in babylon for mine and they are very sweet and reasonably priced.

I am using Lillette's and I love them, I also checked out Carmela's in Huntington they were really sweet but I thought their prices were really high. I was trying on dress that were $3500+ where at lillette's every gown I liked was less then $1800. Lillette's has a big selection of gowns (I went twice before I found my dress and I must have tried on 20 dresses) they are reasonably priced and the people there are great I worked with Lenore and loved her!

Ditto. Gerri's fantastic!

Also it depends on what kind of dress you're looking for. Certain places don't carry all designers. YOu can try RK Bridal too.

I haven't bought my dress yet, but I went to Bridal Elegance on Jericho Tpke. in Huntington and they were awesome!! They were the first place that let me take pictures and can you believe I forgot my camera!!!???

And here's the best part...they let me use their camera and then emailed me the pictures!!! I highly recommend them!!
