BRIDAL BUILDING

Some guy from the Bridal Building in NYC called me and sd that me and my fiance won a free trip ... and he was explaining that the only thing is that I have to go to a travel agency. I just got out of the train - and didnt have pen and paper on me to write down what he was going to tell me ... so I made him call me back and leave me a voicemail message. Im a bit skeptical - bc I didn't register to the site - but the website DOES say that you can win a free trip.

has anyone won before - or know anything abt it - I'm a bit skeptical!

Thanks!

This happens quite a bit with people who are getting married and are at the stage of planning (heard it alot from friends)
A few places sell your names/addresses and phone numbers and email addresses. Then you'll start to get letter and phone calls about winning free trips (if you buy this). Sometimes they are legit (small amount). But many times they are frauds.

I think I got the same phone call. I know that there is a message on my phone - but I had just gotten off the plane so I didn't fully listen. I'll have to listen to it tonight and let you know.

Well...it may be a scam, and it may not. Never hurts to check it out..just don't sign anything

Isn't there a website or something where you can check their credibility

You can always check BBB.com in your area and see. Good site to you if you are exchanging money with any company

Re: BRIDAL BUILDING

I don't know if this helps but I got a call last week saying that I won a couple of prizes...21st century concepts or something like that and I got myself excited only to find out it was a scam. They apparently try to sell you a set of pots that were like a ridiculous amount and ask for like personal info like SS and Credit Card info. We played it safe and just didn't got to pick it up but I did research on them and when I typed their name in google I got things like 'Rip Off Report' and 'Scams in the 21st Century'. Just do some research on the internet and see if it is legit first...otherwise if it is legit CONGRATULATIONS!! HTH
